BACKGROUND
With the spread of the pandemic COVID-19, online learning became the safest mean for youth around the world to pursue their studies in schools and universities
But, in Lebanon, the pandemic is one of many other challenges among which are the economic crisis, the currency inflation and the huge explosion that hit Beirut on the 4th of August 2020
All these challenges have made is difficult for many families to afford and provide the required tools and means (computer, good internet connection, …) for their children to learn online
TMH EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE
At The Makers Hub, we believe that in order to ensure a better future for our young generation, we should ensure their right to have access to education in the safest manner
Therefore, as part of our social responsibility and in collaboration with Beirut Digital District, we have decided to help public/private school students and university students by providing them with free access to laptops and fast internet connection at our premises in BDD, Bldg 1294, Bechara El Khoury
